ALL studies within the GDCN depend on data collected through the established GDCN Patient Registries. We continue our efforts to obtain patient consent for long term follow up for all registry patients. Our current diagnosis priorities include ANCA-associated diseases, lupus nephritis, membranous glomerulopathy, and FSGS including perihilar, glomerular tip and collapsing variants.

Once consent is obtained, we are interested in gathering clinic visit notes, laboratory results, and hospital discharge summaries, as well as treatment information from the time of diagnosis (or onset of disease) until patients die. We are particularly interested in following patients with ANCA-associated diseases and lupus who reach ESRD so that we can learn more about relapse experiences during chronic dialysis and renal transplantation.

We have also currently stepped up our efforts to collect Kidney Patient Profiles (KPPs) on all glomerular disease patients. The current registries include:

  • ANCA Vasculitis and Glomerulonephritis
  • Anti-GBM Disease
  • C1Q Nephropathy
  • Collapsing Glomerulopathy
  • Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis
  • Glomerular Tip Lesion
  • IgA Nephropathy
  • Lupus Nephritis
  • Membranous Glomerulopathy
  • Minimal Change Glomerulopathy
  • Thin Basement Membrane Nephropathy
  • Sickle Cell Nephropathy
