In the July 2009 issue of the American Society of Nephrology’s (ASN) Kidney News Magazine, UNC Kidney Center’s Caroline Jennette reviews state legislation introduced during the 2009 short session for states in her article “Kidney Policy Update: 2009 State Short Session Wrap-Up.”
In the article, Jennette highlights specific bills related to chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation, and organ donation. While not all were passed, there were many successes.
