The Neyhart Scholarship, created by Clara and Greg Neyhart, will award its third scholarship in July of 2014.
Applications for the Neyhart Scholarship are currently being accepted through May 16 of this year.
Clara and Greg established the scholarship in 2010 to support patients with kidney disease or children of patients with kidney disease, who are in pursuit of education in a university, community college or vocational training setting. It is Clara and Greg’s hope that this scholarship will provide the first step for many people toward defining their future, in spite of, rather than because of their kidney disease.
The 2012 scholarship was awarded to Angelica Lieth. The 2013 scholarship was awarded to Kaysha Lampkins, whose story was featured recently on the Kidney Center web site.
