Raven Voora, MD is pleased to be joining the Nephrology Division at the UNC School of Medicine, Department of Medicine.
Dr. Voora’s duties with the Division will primarily involve providing Nephrology consultative service and dialysis care through the UNC Kidney Center’s satellite facilities in Burlington, NC. In addition, she is interested in the diagnosis and treatment of both routine and rare causes of high blood pressure.After receiving her undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, Dr. Voora completed her medical education at the University of Maryland. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at UNC and Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing her training, she worked in a private practice Nephrology group in Fairfax, Virginia for 4 years.
Dr. Voora was born and raised in Maryland. She recently married and moved to North Carolina to be with her husband. Now that she has a lifelong travel partner, she has been visiting new countries. She and her husband went to South Africa on a safari in the Fall of 2011.
