We are pleased to announce a recent publication from the UNC Kidney Center, “Pneumococcal Vaccine Use and Immunogenicity in Patients with Glomerular Disease: A Scoping Review and Analysis of Healthcare Claims Data,” published online in Glomerular Diseases. First author is Kate Guittari, a UNC senior who works in the Falk lab at UNC. Kate is a Morehead-Cain Scholar and is pursuing growing interests in both immunology and clinical research through exploration of the efficacy of pneumococcal vaccinations in patients with immune-mediated kidney diseases.
