Adeline Dorough received her Master’s of Public Health degree in Health Behavior from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. She is a Research Coordinator in the Patient-Centered Innovation in Kidney Disease research group at the UNC Kidney Center. In this role, she collaborates with various stakeholders to design and implement health education resources, interventions, and patient-reported outcome measures. She has particular expertise in stakeholder engagement, which serves as the foundation for all of her work toward improving kidney care experiences and health outcomes. Her utmost priorities are to 1) empower patients to confidently use their voice in research and health care, and 2) engage in equal partnership with diverse stakeholders to bring about sustainable, meaningful change in routine care. During her free time, she enjoys longboarding, teaching yoga, and completing house projects.
