Research Coordinator

Interests: Social determinants of health, historically disadvantaged and vulnerable populations, increasing equitable access to healthcare.

Amber Erskine is a Research Coordinator in the Flythe research program. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing her Master of Physiology at NC State. Through over 5 years of experience as a research assistant and coordinator on various projects, Amber has developed a diverse range of interests and skills. Her research interests include social determinants of health, historically disadvantaged and vulnerable populations, and increasing equitable access to healthcare. Currently, Amber is working on the SMaRRT-HD Study, where she is focused on improving hemodialysis-related symptoms. Outside of work, Amber enjoys exploring food truck festivals, spending time with her dog and price tracking her next flight back home to the Caribbean.
