DIVINE – Dynamic Imaging of Variation in Lupus Nephritis

Purpose: To test if a variety of renal imaging of the kidneys (via MRI) of patients with lupus of the kidney (lupus nephritis [LN]) will provide a set of non-invasive tools to assess renal function and disease activity in LN compared to kidney biopsy findings.

Study Procedures: Participants will have an MRI 1-3 days prior to their scheduled kidney biopsy and then again 6 months after their biopsy.  Blood and urine will be collected at these visits along with disease activity assessments.

Participation: Participation will last approximately 6 months.
