Hypertension clinic The UNC Kidney Center is a Center for Excellence for Glomerular Diseases and Vasculitis, providing care for patients and leading research studies in the field.

The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension provides clinical care for patients with kidney disease, including diagnosis and management of kidney diseases and medical management of dialysis and renal transplantation.

Clinical services include general and specialized clinics that treat common kidney-related diagnoses, including:

  • Hypertension
  • Glomerular disease, including nephritis and vasculitis
  • Polycystic kidney disease, and other inherited kidney diseases
  • Kidney stones
  • Early kidney failure
