ASN Kidney Week, the world’s premier nephrology meeting, took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from November 11 to 16, 2014. More than 13,000 kidney professionals from around the world came together to exchange knowledge, learn the latest scientific and medical advances, and listen to engaging and provocative exchanges between leading experts in the field.
The UNC Kidney Center had many representatives at the event, with several speaking and presenting posters throughout Kidney Week.
Talks were given by UNC Kidney Center faculty members Vimal Derebail, Randy Detwiler, Maria Ferris, Jenny Flythe, Koyal Jain, Charles Jennette, Amy Mottl, Karin True, and Raven Voora.
Posters were presented by UNC Kidney Center faculty and trainees Lydia Aybar, Baher Basta, Elizabeth Brant, Landon Brown, Anne Butler, Maria Ferris, Jenny Flythe,Charles Jennette, Olivier Lardinois, Julie McGregor and Jiajin Yang.
